I know many of you are looking forward to the new crawfish season. So am I!
The cold temperatures are keeping the crawfish from wanting to feed and due to this problem, prices are at the highest we have ever seen.
We are hoping for some warmer weather to come through soon and this will help bring down the prices once the crawfish start to feed.
The temperature of the water needs to be around 50 degrees constant for the crawfish to come out and feed. Once they feed they’ll start getting larger and the prices will come down.
We would appreciate anyone interested in crawfish to please call the store at 972-424-3474 and get on our newsletter that I send out every week. This will always keep you updated.
Thanks for keeping up with us and we look forward to providing you the highest quality of seafood available.

The fillets are absolutely perfect and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t just caught.
Prices are high this past season and they look like they might remain high.
We’ve had to go up on price this past season to 21.49 per lb.
During the crawfish season, we cook crawfish outside he store in our new commercial crawfish cooker.
We cook three sacks at a time and usually by the time we pull the crawfish out, they are already sold.
We recommend that our customers reserve your order so we know how much crawfish we will need t cook for that day.
We will start cooking when the prices come down and the crawfish are available.
Right now as of 2-6-14 the prices live are more than what I sell them cooked.
