Hi everyone!

It’s Monday and I have a feeling many of you are sitting at home staying out of this cold weather. It reminds me of last year at this time. I hope everyone is staying warm!

I spoke to two of my out of suppliers today and they have the same exact weather we are having here. One is out of Shreveport and the other is out of South Louisiana.

This will delay shipments to Dallas on Tuesday and they will be coming in on Wednesday instead.

We had a very nice day at the store on Saturday and it was great seeing all of you that came by. The weather on Sunday kept many at home but we appreciated all of you that came by on Sunday. Many of you were preparing for today ‘s weather.

We closed the store today due to the weather and also not being able to get any deliveries today.

Lent brought many customers into the store this past week and we hope that if there is anything special you might be needing to please give us a call and we’ll be more than happy to get it in for you. . (Lent begins on 2-18 and ends on 4-2-15.)

We will be stocking on a daily basis many fresh fish and with Lent being here, Salmon is a very popular seafood that many customers are looking for.

We have in stock three different types of Salmon on a daily basis:

Wild Alaskan Sockeye(skin on and bone out)

Scottish Salmon(skin on and bone out)

Steelhead Salmon/Trout(skin on and bone out)

We also have a Norwegian Salmon in precut 8 oz vacuum sealed fillets.

Each fillet is skinless and boneless.

All fillets can be skinned for you while you wait. Just let us know.

LOBSTER TAILS:

We always have plenty of Lobster Tails in stock!

We stock three types of frozen lobster tails:

Caribbean Warm Water Tails: any size 25.00 lb(up to 1 1/4 lbs)

Maine Tails: any size 35.00 lb

Austrailian Tails:  60.00 lb (10-12 oz only)

LIVE LOBSTERS ARE AVAILABLE IF ORDERED THE DAY BEFORE YOU NEED THEM.

ANY SIZE, BUT WE REALLY RECOMMEND 1 1/2 POUND OR LARGER TO GET YOUR MONEY’S WORTH. ANYTHING LESS THAN 1 1/2 POUNDS HAS NOT DEVELOPED ENOUGH MEAT.

KING CRAB LEGS: 24.99 LB (AVERAGE SIZE: 1/2-3/4 LB PER LEG)

SNOW CRAB LEGS: 11.99 LB (LARGEST AVAILABLE)

CRAWFISH UPDATE: 2-23 thru 3-1-15

Due to the cold weather today, we do not have a price update for Crawfish for this week.

We should know the prices on Tuesday.

WE WANT EVERYONE THAT WANTS CRAWFISH THIS WEEK TO PLEASE CALL AND RESERVE YOUR ORDER AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

LAST WEEK, MANY CUSTOMERS WAITED TO THE LAST MINUTE TO RESERVE THEIR ORDER BUT THE STORMS HIT THE CRAWFISH FARMS ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND THAT STOPPED ALL PRODUCTION.

PLEASE, IF DURING THE WEEK YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT HAVING CRAWFISH FOR THE UPCOMING WEEKEND, RESERVE YOUR ORDER(you have until Friday to change your order or cancel) but reserving early, protects you.

CRAWFISH ARE STILL NOT PLENTIFUL ENOUGH FOR US TO ORDER EXTRA FOR LAST MINUTE WALKIN ORDERS, SO PLEASE RESERVE YOUR ORDER EARLY.

DEADLINE TO ORDER CRAWFISH IS AT 2:00 ON FRIDAY.

ORDERS ARE CALLED IN TO THE SUPPLIER AT 2:00 P.M.

Starting this week, our Crawfish suppliers were to start delivering to us on the following days:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and  Saturday. We will be happy to hold your crawfish for Sunday pick up if you need your crawfish on Sunday.

This week, Tuesday deliveries will be made on Wednesday.

All orders for weekday deliveries need to be placed and reserved by 2:00 the day before delivery.

As the weather starts to get warmer, crawfish will become more plentiful and grading and sorting equipment will be set up to grade the sizes of the crawfish and also rinse them.

As of today, the crawfish are not graded and are only what they pull from the water at the Crawfish Farms.

Many customers are asking when we will be cooking crawfish?

As soon as the prices drop low enough that I can offer my customers a great price like we do every year.

It should be soon and soon as it happens I will let everyone know. Because I am truly ready for some of my Cajun cooked crawfish. I haven’t had any since last season.

We keep in stock on a daily basis, Seafood Gumbo, Crawfish Etouffee and Shrimp Creole. All are available in 30 oz tubs or 4# trays.

Cajun sausages, Crawfish and also Pork and rice boudin, Alligator tail meat and also Alligator sausage.

Come check it out because I have many other items that you’ll enjoy for the Crawfish season..

Soon as the season really gets stronger and the prices come down, we will be cooking crawfish out in front of our store on Saturdays. We can’t wait!! 

Catering is also a program we really enjoy doing for our customers.

If you’re looking at the possibilities of having a Crawfish party this year, give us a call, we’ll be more than happy to help you plan your needs. We’ll even cook them for you if you want at your location or at our store. Just bring your cooler when we are unloading a new batch of freshly cooked crawfish and we’ll pour them right into your cooler. it’s that simple!!!!!

Oysters in the shell and shucked oysters are also very popular. Please make sure you let us know early so we can have your oysters ready this weekend.

Friday is the last day to reserve anything for the weekend unless you order before 11:00 A.M. on Saturday morning. Saturday orders are delivered late in the afternoon.
